Technical Sales Specialist

Job Summary:
- Grow sales by direct customer relations
- Provide sales, service and technical support to industrial and municipal end users for an assigned territory.
- Develop and implement territory sales strategies.
- Communicate on-site and in person via phone, email, text as best suits the situation and customer.
- Identify, target, and maintain key accounts and focusing on the opportunities that align with Powerflo’s market strengths.
- Provide all technical quotations to the assigned accounts.
- Processing orders and working between manufacturers and end users to ensure after sales success.
- Provide hands on installation and equipment measuring assistance for sealing solutions.
- Deliver product.
- Entertain exceptional accounts.
- 15 meaningful in-person sales calls per week.
- Call reports submitted every Monday. Weekly sales strategy and training meetings.
- 1 to 2 week per year of travel for manufacturer technical product training.
- Assist with invoice collections.
Essential Skills:
- Self-Motivated / Self-Starter.
- Excellent and interpersonal and selling skills.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Including via email, text, and phone
- Ability to effectively propose product solutions via computer driven software programs.
- Must be capable of developing a strong technical knowledge of fluid handling pumps and market specific manufacturing process as applied to pumps.
- Strong customer service skills.
Education or Experience:
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in industrial sales.
- BA, BS, degree preferred.
Other Skills or Abilities:
- Leadership skills.
- Technical knowledge.
- Curiosity to learn and have interest in mechanical things.
- Computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
- Must hold a valid driver’s license.
